Yesterday I said I didn't agree with them withdrawing the other subpoena unless there was another play, I get what that is now. The D's know the strategy is to tie them up with litigation. They currently have an open case against McGahn on subpoena compliance/executive privilege, that case is being fast tracked so they aren't wasting time with any other cases. When the McGahn case is resolved, that is going to set the precedent for complying with the subpoena, so at that point, you get a subpoena and you don't comply they have lawful precedent to hand you an L of some kind.
