I think has been calling it right for two years, Trump’s stupidity was eventually going to do him in.

I'm convinced that Trump doesn't trust Pence and to Pence's benefit, never fully lets him in on the play. Even his conversation from the read-out between him and Zelenskyy sounds like he only knows part of whats going.

This is the puzzling part. If Pence has info that refutes the narrative, then Trump would be smart to selectively release it.

One of Pence’s advisors was on the Ukraine call so I suspect Pence got caught up quickly on what was going on and did nothing.
