Sounds like you tryna bet

:obama:
Bet than not 1 R will vote to remove him? Eh...I'd say there's a very slim outside chance that Susan Collins votes for it so I won't take the bet.

Obviously I'd bet that the Senate won't remove him but I don't think anyone is dumb enough to take that bet.

I'm not even sure I trust Manchin to vote him out if we're keeping it 100 :mjlol:

I still can't wrap my mind around the argument some of you keep making that says:

No Republican Senators will vote to remove Trump if impeached, therefore the entire process is pointless.

AND

Trump, armed with foreign election interference, MAGA die-hards, corporate media, The Illuminati, and Prince Lotor's finest robeasts, is an unstoppable juggernaut who has already won re-election, we're just too naive and stupid to realize it.

88m3 made a pretty salient observation a few posts back when he said that some of you seem to be falling over yourselves to explain how and why Trump is impervious to any and everything.

If that's the case, in all seriousness, why are you even in any Trump related discussion threads? If nothing is going to hinder him, what is there to discuss? None of it matters anyway, right?

:yeshrug:
Because I'm a chatty patty and cheerleader for scandalous fukkery.

Mitt will vote to impeach, he has absolutely nothing to lose. Other than that, 0 chance of any other r senators
Mitt is a loser. The faster you come to this realization we can come up with a legitimate solution.

I personally think the Dems should unload the drum on Trump. Definitely...

-Ukraine
-Obstruction over Russia
-Emoluments clause
-Asking China and Australia to interfere

Impeach on all that and maybe some other shyt you can throw in. Make him squirm and fight off the whole barrage.

The problem with just impeaching on the Ukraine thing while valid, will appear to be just another partisan political fight to many voters. I think some people here overestimate the acumen of the average voter. A lot of voters don't even really pay attention until the end of the cycle. That's why the Comey letter was so devastating to Hillary. A lot of people didn't follow or know anything about the e-mail controversy until they saw "BREAKING NEWS: HILLARY CLINTON UNDER FBI INVESTIGATION FOR SENDING STATE EMAILS ON PRIVATE SERVER" in the 11th hour.

We've seen this movie before. It's the ACA fight, it's the Trump-Hillary election, it's the debt ceiling crisis of 2011, it's the Mueller probe. Trump will say it was a state investigation into corruption, not a politically motivated. It's bullshyt and it's disproven by common sense and documents, but nobody will care. Persuadable voters will fall victim to bothside-ism as usual.

Y'all saying I'm being negative, but I'm not telling you I have the answers. In a deeply corrupt system, bothside-ism is very entrenched and hard to strategize against.

Trump/RNC will have the war chest ready and the whole right-wing will mobilize about Joe Biden and Ukraine. They will do what they do best, muddy the waters. They will concoct elaborate conspiracies about how the Biden's are corrupt supervillains who sold the country out to Ukraine and globalists for Fox News, talk radio, shytty right wing rags, and TV/web ads. They will say the Democrats are doing this to try and overturn the election and the impeachment is purely partisan. It will be total bullshyt but it will largely be seen as just a partisan fight by persuadable voters.

Democrats and Republicans will be :slapfight:

Independents, casual voters, will be like :manny:

I doubt it. Romney came out too weak. It's "troubling?" :camby:

Over time the initial shock of this president's criminal actions will wear off and his supporters will be emboldened, so I doubt Romney gets stronger on the issue several months from now.

I’m not sure why y’all think I am stanning this fakkit, I saw his tweet today, saw that it was virtue signaling, know where he is a senator, and came to the conclusion that he has nothing to lose by voting to impeach, because it’s empty and it won’t happen.
