I never understood political apathy but now I do. We look down on those who are not politically engaged as fools. Maybe we are the fools. Maybe we are the fools who think we can make a difference or our votes matter in our current corporate owned system.

Not that i'm going to be politically apathetic or anything and I know voting matters at some level, but i'm much more understanding of those who say fukk the system. It's way more of them that those who actually vote.

You're on your own with that one. Locally, your vote changes almost everything. I recognized that very early. I know you're not saying im a fool but just because politics arent working they way I want them too doesnt mean that I'm a fool for thinking I can be part of the change.
