I never understood political apathy but now I do. We look down on those who are not politically engaged as fools. Maybe we are the fools. Maybe we are the fools who think we can make a difference or our votes matter in our current corporate owned system. :yeshrug:

Not that i'm going to be politically apathetic or anything and I know voting matters at some level, but i'm much more understanding of those who say fukk the system. It's way more of them that those who actually vote.

You're on your own with that one. Locally, your vote changes almost everything. I recognized that very early. I know you're not saying im a fool but just because politics arent working they way I want them too doesnt mean that I'm a fool for thinking I can be part of the change.

John Kennedy becomes the first senator to ask a question to both sides. Why did the House not challenge Trump’s claims of executive privilege/immunity during inquiry. Jeffries says Trump “never” invoked executive privilege, saying the WH engaged in “blanket defiance”

Hakeem Jeffries: "We did not challenge any claims related to executive privilege because, as the president's own counsel admitted during this trial, the president never raised the question of executive privilege. What the president did raise was this notion of blanket defiance."

I find Dershowitz incredibly irritating. I know he's smart enough to know that his arguments are in bad faith and trash, but he also thinks he's so smart that I (and the rest of the public) iam stupid enough to believe him.
Repulsive is more like it..

He’s toilet scum

Dershowitz argument that quid pro quo is okay because it would be in the “public interest” that trump be re-elected is more garbage than usual.

so if trump felt making his political opponent disappear with the help of a foreign entity, it would be okay then :jbhmm:
They lied about iraq , destroyed Afghanistan, lied about ,Venezuela, set a coupe in bolivia , killed kadafi, they just lie
