Everyday people retire and die. The idea that black Americans cannot get high paying or even good paying jobs because the spots are static is bullshyt. It also ignores the fact that unionized jobs in those industries pay better and cannot go to the undocumented migrants.
The issue is a lack of career education and opportunity to get better paying jobs with protections to ensure it’s low paying gig work.
Where did I state that positions are static? Please, quote me and highlight that statement. No, my statement was that not everyone will qualify for those jobs, and that is a fact. Not everyone will be able to get a college degree or acquire a trade, because there are not an infinite amount of those jobs available even if racism and discrimination was not a factor. There will always be those in the US who are in those categories, because the jobs market experiences scarcity in various openings for jobs. So people dying and retiring is a Long Run Economic Labor concern, while in the Short Run people still have to work to support themselves.
6/10 of our people are in those low to no skill category and have to compete with illegals there, and you are more worried about defending the illegals than you are about our own people who have to compete with them. Instead of dealing with the reality of the situation, you want to support a policy that ignores the situation. You are low key here supporting a political policy that is harming many of our people, and my question to you is why?
