Does anyone really like Trump, or do they just like what he represents to them?

I say this for the simple fact that regardless of whether one liked Kamala or not, they liked that she represented someone that wasn't Trump (and all that he stood for). If some nxgga from HS who I had eternal beef with was going up against Trump, I'd be advocating for him for the greater good too.

If Trump lost and came out in the immediate aftermath and said he was just playing, merely running an experiment to see how long he could fool America for, do you think those same folks still be pretending to like him?

It's wild to me that politics has devolved into this type of sensationalism.
