It's ironic how he announced/released these a few days after being charged with that lawsuit which should tell you that he's been sitting on these sneakers for weeks if not a month or two in the event he'd lose the case. I say that because ain't no way he just created them within days...he's been keeping them on standby for this situation.
A lawyer or someone important in his camp must've warned him there was a high probability of him losing so financially these sneakers were/are his backup plan in the event of a “just in case” scenario where he'd need money raised.
This says a lot about the state of his pockets...he ain't doing too well. Now you wonder if the sneakers were really sold out or it could this simply be a marketing strategy, and the man who supposedly paid nearly $10K on an auction sale might be somebody he (or his team) paid off to hype up the profile of the sneakers.
