This is just performative symbolism to keep the misinformed and the ignorant distracted from the fact that he and his party are rolling back Civil Rights legislation and protections while slowly minimizing anything to do with Black History and the progress that's been made.

Being honored with gestures and shyt means nothing when the things that truly matter, such as your rights, liberties, protections, and livelihood, are in jeopardy.

It's kinda like talking out of both sides of one's mouth, saying one thing but then doing another.

Remember how he spoke about protecting Black jobs, but then the moment he got into office, he did everything possible to eradicate any policies and legislation that may potentially have helped lead to Black people being employed in a society that is very discriminative against those of a darker complexion. Hypocrisy.
