Nas stans really are delusional. Idk how anyone can listen to stillmatic and think its better than american gangster, blueprint or the black album. The production alone makes all of them better than stillmatic

:laff:

it is blueprint is probaly the most overrated album ever

c/s wtf is wrong with these jay stans that nikkas discography is trash
Nah. both Jay and Nas got two of the best discographies ever just off high points alone. But it’s crazy how people will argue Nas has an inconsistent discography and turn around and ignore the 6 :trash:albums Jay dropped.

Are you seriously suggesting Jay won the battle? :PGucci:
If you want rehash the debate over who the jay-nas battle you’re going to dig up some of my old posts and refute my argument explaining my opinion on who won. My point here is that this thread is a result of nas fanboys being forever insecure when it comes to jay.
:dead:
Jay lost the battle, but he’s got a better credit score, so that evens it out for me
i said a better life not credit score:pachaha:

Hahaha keep posting your goofy gifs instead of actually rebutting any of the FACTS that I'm dropping

Lemme break it down for you

First off if you think Vol 2 is better than I Am you need to get your ears checked by a doctor...Vol 2 is TRASH outside of a couple of songs...fools mix up the idea that its the album that turned Jay into a big star with it being one of his better albums, a lie Jay himself spread when he ranked his own discography. When Jay talks about how he dumbed his shyt down for money on that song on The Black Album, Vol 2 is what he was talking about. Meanwhile I Am is flawed but the great songs on it are up there with the best shyt Nas ever recorded.

QB's Finest vs Dynasty honestly neither were that great and had a lot of filler but QB's had Find Ya Wealth and Self Conscience while Dynasty had Dynasty Intro and This Can't Be Life. Those are their bonafied classics IMO, making them about even for me.

Stillmatic vs Blueprint, first off obviously the production is better on BP. I don't listen to rap solely for the beats though. I listen for bars and the bars on Stillmatic are much better. BP is overrated in that regard, Jay has had much better performances on other albums. Also they took Braveheart Party off Stillmatic but Jigga that nikka is still on BP, meaning nothing on Stillmatic is worse that Jigga That nikka.

Untitled vs American Gangster...production is again more consistent on AG but Nas was speaking straight truth on that whole Untitled joint. No big rappers were really spreading a pro-black message in that era and he paved a way for consciousness for Kendrick and them. Both are dope ass albums tho, I don't really see how it's crazy that I would like them equally
