Life is Good is a top 5 album from him, arguably his 4th best and was one of the best of 2012 and alot of dope projects dropped in 2012

GKMC was the only rap record on another level from LIG in 2012. The only other rap album i might take over it is RAP Music from Killer Mike

I think this might be the most talked about battle as far as The Takeover and Ether bow cuz 2Pac vs Biggie never had an actual rap battle, Pac put out Hit Me Up and Biggie didn't respond while 2Pac was alive.

Vol 2 is one of the worst albums I've ever heard tho, I will say even Nas' worst project isn't anywhere close to that garbage.

And RD isn't Illmatic level (Blueprint is closer) but the falloff in quality between those two after their debuts is pretty big. Lost Tapes is the only other album close to touching Jay's top 3 or 4.

Time been good to Trackmasters beats, they get a bad rep for some reason cuz they wasn't on the Illmatic team but they laced Nas with a lot of fukkin heat
