Agreed. This shyt the past two episodes played out like Scooby Doo, but the acting and writing made it something special. The same formula has been done over and over and over for so long that this was a much needed break from that monotony you'd be accustomed to in another cop show.

When Rust essentially broke down that he had a near death experience and felt the energy of his dad and daughter it was a cool moment.

Overall a great show though
:blessed:Some real perspective , the show is good....but I too felt like the overall vibe changed with the last two eps

Starkset...
I'm gonna have nightmares about this shyt tonight :damn: :lupe:

How did the cops know where they were at?

Marty can see the future. he knew what hood to be in close proximity to during the shootout.... knew they were going to need the entire police force and paramedics and convinced the black detectives to rally the troops even though baldy thought he sounded just as crazy as Rust. great fukkin series even better acting, but imo this ain't in goat contention for me. all the "false" clues not materializing into anything... the spiral accidentally left on the fridge. what was the point of the website and the focus on clues for things to end this clean. I believe the writer did exactly what he said... he had the ending already in his head... and just went to town with the rest of the story. threw in all types of compelling shyt to add to the lore of it all... and thrust kicked you towards the climax in the final 2 shows. don't get me wrong.. I'm satisfied, but I'm leaving season1 with the feeling that this could have been some goat shyt, but its not quite there......

Which makes me wonder what direction is the writer gonna take for next season, I dunno bout y'all but I'm ignoring all the little tidbit Easter eggs next time and just try to enjoy the ride

so.....
the Tuttle clan conducted allllll the sacrifices at 'carcosa' as seen in the finale? they kept the lunatic Remis on deck to man the compound? ledoux & his fat homie went there and drugged up victims for rituals? the dude with his mouth sewn was remis' dad for real?

There was only 1 clue left unsolved: Marty's daughter and the toys. The other stuff such as the spirals were there for symbolism too.

As far as the people they didn't catch. Both Rust and Marty know that they didn't get them all but they got Dora Lange's killer. That's who they've always been after.

Remember Ledoux said a lot powerful men went there.

Pizolato was surprised with all the theories fans were making, specially when it came to "crazy twists". I'm pretty sure he's gonna have more awareness when writing for next season.

Wether that means more red herrings/easter eggs or less, it remains to be seen
