Just read an interview with Cary Fukunaga the director of these 8 eps he said there's a 90 minute cut of episode 5.

Hopefully they include that and other director's cuts of eps on the Blu-Ray.

You realize the highest paid detective on TV is a female right?

Detectives aren't action heroes. As long as its a good actress a female will work

and? when every year there are new actors im trying to see pairs of people we wouldnt be able to see otherwise. like denzel, tom hanks, people like that. there very few females tandems that i could think of that are more appealing than two potential A list actors like the ones i mentioned.
