It's ironic Skylar got mentioned. I just started Breaking Bad (I'm on season 2, episode 8), and I hate Skylar's character too. . I hated this episode. Create one of the most intelligent and reflective characters in TV history only to have him outwitted by a revenge driven housewives, brehs.

It takes a lot out of the dynamic of his character for me, and subsequently the show.

He was wasted and I could sense a subtle connection between them from the instant they met. Honestly the first night he went over to Marty's place to talk with them I could see Cohle was gonna fukk Marty's wife the second this whole dynamic was introduced. The foreshadowing was obvious as hell
