and i didn't realize that the black chick was paula j parker last week
I think it was in memory of Terry. So its now Arlene's restaurant.
you know this show is going downhill when this thread isn't even upped...what season did this show just lose its momentum? It was almost gradual by like season 4 I think they lost the show runner and the epicness is just gone, they really in the beginning made it a nice large scale civil rights all in the news type issue and now it just feels like an x-rated abc family show
jason still dreaming about Eric even though some new vamp is feeding on him? Now that was some female( and gay fans) fan service. So no one thought to check out Fangtasia? And why is Sam in human form? Shoudn't he turn into a bird or a blood hound and track down his woman and unborn child?

They should've just ended this last season but of course they had to milk it because the ratings were so high
I hope this hep V storyline doesn't last the whole season
How is this the last season and the storylines y'all choose to go with are hep V vamps killing everybody, Tara's mom being addicted to V, Pam searching for Eric
I expect this type of fall off from a Showtime show but not HBO
2 episodes in and it looks like this final season might be worse than Dexter and Weeds final seasons combined

I know its hard to pay attention to this trash, but Him and Alcide lost the scent, so they were tracking. Fangtasia isn't in Bon Temps, its the next town over, and what still gets me is how cheap HBO is. Of all the animals to turn into, this fool turns into that raggedy dog again!!! Fine he cant keep up with the speed of a vamp running away, but at least turn into an Owl or Eagle or something and track them from the sky!
Somebody explain something to me: isn't this based on a book? I can't imagine the book being that trash, so are they straying from the book and just completely making storylines up ?

I really don't get what they are trying to go with this. Maybe that is the point. Element of surprise, pull a storyline out of their ass but man some scenes are unwatchable and boring. I'm a day one watcher. Have watched every sunday night since the show came on (crazy, I know). So I'll suck it up, watch, hope for the best but don't expect much lol
I think sam gon die next because in te next episode,the other guy will shoot towards them ( jessica, the sheriff, sam and jason)and said "well im mayor now".

Yea and they were bashing this dude for it which is bullcrap. No one should do anything they aren't comfortable doing. You can be a supporter of gay rights, and not play a gay role. It doesn't make you a homophobe. Trueblood sex scenes aren't regular scenes either. I'm not trying to get butthole naked and kiss another man and pretend to have sex. It would look so terrible and forced, and you'd tell the actor is repulsed.
