I get what your saying but Troy could easily have hit an innocent party during his retaliation attempt. If he did and they died it would negate any sympathy he's getting. The point is that could have been a potential outcome and his life or need to clap back is not greater than any other person in there. His retaliation in that setting can't fly over ever as fair. Now if the same thing happens without the bystanders around you might have a point.That's completely understood.
