I agree. It seems like that would have kept this whole mess from happening. Especially in Manhattan. It's not like other places where those guys who were denied entry can just post up in the outdoor parking lot and still get it popping. You'd be a fool to chill outside of Irving Plaza for several hours with a strap on you.
Basically.

Breh I've met up with the homies after Jada shows....50 shows...all kinds of shows...nothing ever went down. And I'm talking Prime 50 in like 2003 and 2004 and shyt when he legit had whole hoods wanting to get at him.

I been to Sigel and Freeway shows in Philly and nothing happend. Nada.

At most it might be people who were in the audience AT the shows who got their kicks stepped on or felt disrespected or some other "nikka moment" type shyt that happens but never popping off and shooting and shyt.

I'm not saying it's NEVER happened but shyt man I been going to shows for YEARS now and never an incident

I think the biggest thing that ever popped off was when I was at Rock the Bells like 5 or 6 years ago when Wu and Snoop headlined and after the show people were fighting when we were trying to get back on the ferries to go back to Manhattan but that's more because people were tired and it was hot. shyt had nothing to do with "hip hop" per se.

Absolutely nothing. nikkas on The Coli don't even go outside breh so don't be surprised they know nothing about the world beyond their laptops.

I been patted down at damn near every show I been to in NYC from Rae and Ghost to Curren$y to Run the Jewels and cats still out here wanting to blame "hip hop"

They're clowns sans makeup and red noses...who knows they probably rock that shyt too
You're playing yourself. People who have social lives know where they're more likely to get shot/robbed/get into a fight/etc...and why. I'll rather go a lounge like Latitude instead of going to Harlem Nights, for instance. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about since you're one of those unicorns who step away from their laptop and go outside. And there's plenty of black folks at the latter so stop pretending to be a victim.

fukk this shooting got to do with rap? You weirdos/white boys stay acting like nikkas can't just be beefing over regular street shyt and just so happened to run into each other at this concert. Them Uncle Murda and Maino lyrics had nothing to do with the shooting at all.
What does this shooting have to do with rap? The people involved in the shooting were affiliated with rappers, breh.

:jbhmm:

TI askin' where his guy is at like a disappointed father when their son get into some shyt.
Tip has already lost enough people to shyt like this already. Im sure nikkas gonna say he look shook because thats the thing to do on the coli but he been in that situation before and im sure he doesn't want that blood on his hands again.

If that was the 2010 show with Slick Rick (he just stood on stage with his hand in his pocket), Rakim, Lauryn, Tribe, Wu & Snoop then I was there. Me and my boy were too high to bogard our way on the ferry but yeah some people were a bit extra about getting outta there lol
