You nikkas are idiots. By the time the Free Troy Ave campaign is in full swing and he's granted a bail, you nikkas will go nuts. 
All he's doing is what he's supposed to do in this situation. Obviously the song/quote was approved by the lawyer. It just reiterates (quite concisely) the lawyers defense theory.
Knowing you've got a rapper with one of the biggest platforms on earth right now, whom makes music, music is getting played because of the situation, and has limited angles to work...Why would you NOT have this man do damage control/PR work within HIS culture, by throwing that out there?

Who said the whole thing was intentional, you fukking retard? He's IN JAIL, most of the songs are from PREVIOUS MIXTAPES. JAIL CALLS ARE RECORDED. HE'S RECORDING FOR A MIXTAPE FOR THE PUBLIC TO HEAR.
THE LAWYER ALREADY THREW OUT THE EXACT SAME DEFENSE THEORY TO SWAY PUBLIC OPINION. It was OBVIOUSLY something the lawyer approved him to add to the thrown together mixtape.

He's incriminated soon as the video footage drops. Him saying WHY he shot, NOW, doesn't incriminate him any further nor harm his legal defensive angle, it helps it in the long term. Especially if supporting evidence comes forth corroborating his defense.
This case will go before a JURY. The deciding factor of wether he's found guilty or not of attempted murder is wether or not they believe this man struggled for the gun and was shot along with Banga in the struggle, retaliating after reasonable belief that his life was in immediate danger or not. THAT'S IT.
Time, sentencing, reduced charges, all that comes after.
If he remains quiet, seeing as how the police initially dropped the ball with the 2nd shooter theory until it was made public by the defense, why would you trust the general public to run with ONLY THE COPS VERSION OF EVENTS in the most crucial period of potential jury selection?
Look, I'm not arguing with people who have no clue what unthinkable defenses have succeeded, that are published within the depths of U.S. case law. Secondly, I've seen first hand MUCH wilder scenarios, from the inside (I'm talking about straight from the defendants mouth, on some nikkas talking about more of their case than they should in jail shyt), who effectively went on to beat their cases against unthinkable odds and EVERYONE telling them to take the available plea deal.
