That may be true for you but in my experience,nahhhh..

I ran into a dude back in 2007 who was wearing a Cowboys jersey,u know when they were contenders. I had my Favre jersey on and he straight up said, Packers gonna lose to Cowboys next week! I said,we'll see,i bet your QB throws more INT's then TD's. WARNING: the following comment will change your outlook on Cowboy fans....He replied with, Yea right,Emmitt Smith is a great QB....I was like :wtf: Smith aint even playing no more let alone a QB. He then replied with, did he get injured or something? haven't been watching the news lately....I nearly died from his ignorance....No joke here brehs...No exaggeration...That day sealed the fate of all Cowboy fans in my eyes.(well most)

Yeah, that is pretty wild...but:

1) My relative has been a Cowboys fan since we was comin' up (in that Emmitt era), and he's from Long Beach. We talmbat the kinda dude who when he gets Madden every year creates himself as Dallas' RB.

2) One of the big homies is from Kansas City, and he has his basement covered ceiling to floor in Cowboys memorabilia from the Staubach era on down.

3) Another one of the big homies is from Kansas City and a Cowboys fan...his pop used to play for the Cheifs, but he doesn't give a damn. He, and the dude from #2 go down to Dallas every year for games.

4) A lot of people I went to school with live in Dallas now, and they say games aren't as big a deal there as they are here. But that may be because there's more stuff goin' on...

I know from watching the games that we have no homefield advantage. The place is never loud. I'm actually now kind of dreading my decision to go to the Dallas/Pittsburgh game in Dallas this year. The last time I went to Texas for a game between the two teams it looked like a home game for the Steelers. fukkin fakkit ass Steelers fans were chanting their gay ass "here we go Steelers" chant in the corridors while Cowboys fans looked on quietly and let them take over our Stadium. Dexter Coakley even made a statement about how embarrassing it was for him.

On another note though, even though Troy is right, it still proves my point that Troy would rather talk shyt about Dallas just to make himself not look like a homer. Listening to him call Cowboys games is a nightmare.

That's because most of the folks that go to the games are some stuck up white folks that don't want to look like a rowdy fan :aicmon:

I mean this is true to an extent...but let's be really real...the majority of NFL, NBA, and MLB arenas and stadiums have no real advantage

every sport has a few fan bases that go all out for their squads at all times

but in reality...the most die hard fans are not at the games...the price point for NFL games for a family is way, way too extravagant.

I mean there are people willing to pay...obviously, since the stadiums fill up...but judging the die-hardness for fan bases based on whether or not they are willing to foot the bill is a silly way to judge it

I know plenty of people who are HUGE fans...like have entire rooms dedicated their team...but they simply can't afford to go to the games...in fact the MAJORITY of fans I know are like this...it's fine if you guy by yourself or you only have to buy a ticket for yourself

but a family of four...especially with younger kids...that's not worth it at all...way too much money.

He's pretty much right about Cowboy fans. For some reason, they've always been a whine and cheese crowd. Mavs, Stars, and Rangers? They use to be loud in old Texas Stadium. i remember when the team was on d, the crowd made noise. You wouldnt have what you had on monday occur in the 90s. But the other three, they've always came out unless its owner problems. The problem with Dallas is the average fan I priced out the game. 100 dollars for the cheapest ticket. At least 60 dollars to park. 10 dollars for the cheapest drink and shyt. You could spend up to 400 dollars a game by your damn self. Folks in South Dallas, east Fort Worth not going for that.

People on the ticket said the same thing. The metroplex has about 7 million people. But it's still a bang for your buck type area. People aren't throwing money out there like that to spend 400 dollars at a football game. And if you do stand at the games and make noise. You have some jackasses behind you telling you to sit down because they can't see the game. The fukk you came to the game for? It's not like you aren't looking at that screen at the top anyway. People will call security on you for standing and they will escort you out and thus you have the current culture of Cowboys stadium which btw, I hate.

I susspteced as much. Dallas has grown up and is looking to be a world city. Jerry don't want clowns out there like that, not like the 1990's with texas stadium. NY, Chicago have fans but the hooliganism is kept to a minimum with the high prices.

Why they didn't move to the cotton bowl I will never understand.
