I've BEEN saying this.

It's ridiculous. And it's this way in EVERY sport. Yeah I know when teams get good, fanship increases....but Dallas is ridiculous.

Dallas is the place where sports marketing is realized 100%. When a team gets better, people here go 1000% overboard in their "fanship"

It's why my whole family has always hated the Cowboys and probably why I grew up disliking them.

Let me put it like this, there are many diehard fans here....but the majority that attend games are casual fans. Mexicans here LOVE the Cowboys

Can't speak for any other fanbase but as a Mavs Daniel definitely noticed an uptick in fans as the team made the run to the 2011 Finals. I do know quite a few local Mavs fans. Most of the ones I know are loyal to Dirk before the team.

I ran into a dude back in 2007 who was wearing a Cowboys jersey,u know when they were contenders. I had my Favre jersey on and he straight up said, Packers gonna lose to Cowboys next week! I said,we'll see,i bet your QB throws more INT's then TD's. WARNING: the following comment will change your outlook on Cowboy fans....He replied with, Yea right,Emmitt Smith is a great QB....I was like Smith aint even playing no more let alone a QB. He then replied with,did he get injured or something? haven't been watching the news lately....I nearly died from his ignorance....No joke here brehs...No exaggeration...That day sealed the fate of all Cowboy fans in my eyes.(well most)
