I was finally able to get some sleep! Our street now has water -- ankle deep water but I'm grateful it's just that. The water drains easily in our area. I'm back watching Channel 2 and they said even if it does go back over the water it will only get to 40 or 45 miles per hour (thank God!) so you're right, no full blown hurricane. So I think we get a break until Monday night.

No its not, but it will temporarily move over the Gulf, not enough to rapidly strengthen but to keep a moisture feed coming in from the GOM. Either way, whether it stays a Low pressure or strengthens is really insignificant, the main threat at this point is major flooding.

Everything good so far on my side 610/Stella Link, but lots of friends have flooded in Meyerland and inside loop. Rain needs to go away, not sure how much water my back yard can handle. Front of house is doing good though. Stay safe everyone!
