The water is actually receding pretty fast in areas where the rain has stopped.

I was thinking about moving from these apartments. After this, I'm never leaving. Never feared for my life or property. Gonna fix this place up a bit so next time I can offer shelter to others in times like this.
We will move to a house but that bytch will be on a hill.

yeah shyt is really a no win situation. i'm not saying it's right or wrong one way or the other, but it's really not fair for people to compare it to smaller cities that can be evacuated far more easily.

plus theres always always gonna be people who are too old/sick/poor to evacuate
or will lose their jobs
or cant find a place to take a loved pet
or dont have a place to go
or dont have reliable transportation

its easy for folks to criticize who have no fukking idea what they are talking about
