Goose Creek still haven't cancelled school for my nieces on Monday yet . It's supposed to be their first day of school. I just checked their website.....nothing yet .



But we had a tornado around 9 something this morning when I was in bed. I just got up and turned on the tv.....then went back to bed it didn't come directly our way - I heard that sh*t from a distance.


But mama and I are good; my sisters are okay as well. It's just very cloudy but that rain and wind was hardcore as hell

No flooding so far we're just waiting on the rest of it to hit our way.

I'm starting to get a bit freaked out. It's gonna 100% rain for like 5 straight days. The worst has yet to come. Floods will be very severe. I didn't have to prepare either because I just moved back to Houston last week, and was stuck in the hospital until yesterday.

this is why storm chasers are awesome aside from giving us that crazy footage from last night. the ones who do it right, a lot of times are first responders. Jeff is one of the best. when that tornado hit Joplin and leveled everything, Jeff was one of the first people trying to rescue people who were trapped in their homes and stuck in their cars.

My sister that lives in Houston (but is out of town right now) asked me to go online and see if I can buy her some renters insurance.

I'm like...I'll try but I don't know if the insurance companies gonna play that. Every time I try to get a online quote for a Houston address it says something like "online quotes not available in your area".
