My sister that lives in Houston (but is out of town right now) asked me to go online and see if I can buy her some renters insurance.

I'm like...I'll try but I don't know if the insurance companies gonna play that. Every time I try to get a online quote for a Houston address it says something like "online quotes not available in your area". :skip:

Could you imagine the people at least 400 years ago experiencing this? They probably thought the world was ending:damn:

Well they wouldn't be so close to the water because there would be a swamp, wetlands, vegetation that would stop the water flow inland. They would serve as a buffer zone.

Shout out to wetland erosion brehs.

Man why that shyt moving so slow :mindblown:
It's surrounded by high pressure zones so it's just drifting.

The hurricane is a center of low pressure so it just seeks out a path of least resistance. The problem is that there's tons of resistance from the Northwest and Northeast so it's just holding it in place.

And the bad thing is she's lived there for a while now and the thought apparently never occurred before this hurricane. Live in Houston for five years without flood insurance, brehettes. :francis:
