on that note.
shelters are all still full, people still coming in
[went out to M O Campbell in Greenspoint today

what plan do they have for these poor people?
alot of the shelters are in schools
i believe fema trailers arent an option any longer
even if they provide vouchers where would all these people go?

What you doing?

Taking out baseboards and moulding, cutting out ~2-3 feet of drywall, removing insulation, treating studs with mold prevention chemicals, and removing debris from the flooding.

I have homebuilding experience from working for Habitat For Humanity for a year. I am not a professional contractor, but I have a lot of experience directing volunteers about how to perform these sorts of tasks.

Would be happy to answer any additional questions anyone has about the process.

Questions here are fine or pm for my email.

The homes we have been in so far did not get flooded to a complete inundation level. We cannot even reach those homes in my area yet.
