All the models I've seen have places that are not actually Houston getting hit the hardest.

This is the problem with Houston. They count everything as Houston.

I don't care what's going on in Galveston or Victoria. I wanna know what's going to happen to HOUSTON dammit! :damn:
Yeah but there's no way it hits Corpus and then Galveston without fukking up everything in between

But the main trajectory is going from south to northwest and curving towards San Antonio.

Corpus not close to Houston at all.

We still gonna get rain, wind. and flooding but it looks like we're not getting the worst of it so far.

Its supposed to hit the gulf again, reform, and then hit again

If this things get a back in the gulf after making landfall, it's trajectory takes right back on land between Galveston an lake Charles. This could be very bad

My point is people need to prepare for the worst.

Houston is huge, but one thing natural disasters are good at is exposing the problems in a city.

One thing I know for sure is that a lot of people don't have flood insurance. If peoples home gets flooded, don't expect to be made whole by uncle Sam.

Not having gas will be the least of your worries
