This shyt is insane. I went by Lakewood Church today. I spoke with a family and seen many others. To see little three year old boys and girls exhausted. Hurt. In pain. To see grown men in near tears but blessed that they have their health and life. To hear the stories. Levee broke, water was up to our chest. :mjcry: To see this brehs. :mjcry: This was just a part of the entrance. There was hundreds of people. All in line to get help and everything gone. Other shelters was sending them to Lakewood.

We went to one of the HS shelters. Went there first to see what was most needed.
Food. :mjcry:
Kroger closed, food town closing (at like 212 wtf?)
Dollar general closed
Finally hit dollar tree and bought snacks, feminine hygiene items, hba
Baby wipes and some other things.
Place was very busy, 1 line of cars for people drop off
1 for donation drop off

Will do more tomorrow. Hopefully Walmart will open so I can buy blankets and pillows

:mjcry:

From Brooklyn living in Houston
We been very fortunate, no damages to the crib. Power never lost, never got water that was concerning, a couple of small leaks that were caused by wind but they have dried up.

Wife and I got some of the kids old clothes, shoes and took to a local church.

Everybody stay safe and dry as best as possible, City looks like a war zone, we need a break from wet weather for months

From Atlanta to San Fran to LA 4now
@Zero imagine what a hurricane like this can do to Norfolk if it fukked Houston up like that.

Last tropical storm had Tidewater Drive looking like an Olympic sized pool

And just as I'm typing this I find information about a new storm forming out in the Atlantic and its potential tracks

Flat out told him I remember going through Andrew and the next one that comes idc what size you and moms gotta evac period. This is so sad but if a cat4/5 came through Hampton roads its fukkin over they have the worst sewage system in America and its already below sea level smh ticking time bomb
