my lights just cut off and water rising fukk
I think people are worried about funds being misappropriated and stolen.I would hope so. I was going to include this in a future post.
The donation amounts I've seen coming from athletes and sports organizations have been insulting.
Let me help you guys understand how much these teams/players care about the people:
- the NFL minimum salary is 465,000
- the nba minimum salary is 562,000
- the mlb minimum salary is 535,000
JJ Wat raised 1.5 million for Hurricane relief. That's the salary cap of punter Chris Jones on the Cowboys. That's 200k more than Chasson Randle's (nyk bench player) contract.
If I sat here and included anyone of these players in a trade with you, you'd laugh and tell me to get the fukk out.
The Texans will probably throw away $1.5 million worth of uneaten hot dogs this season alone.
I truly believe if you compare investments/donations to athlete contracts, you'll truly see what your value is worth to them.
There will be no Brock Osweiler checks cut bro.![]()
What part of town you on?my lights just cut off and water rising fukk
MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN COME THE fukk ONMeteorologists on Twitter saying there's another Tropical disturbance forming in the gulf right now that will hit CC and some of Houston next week. If the highways clear up by this weekend y'all need to get the fukk outta there brehs.
The money is the easy part. If you can't even get a pledge more than a bench player or a throw away roster spot, there is no way you're going to put forth the effort for the bolded.I think people are worried about funds being misappropriated and stolen.
Right now if I'm a celeb or super rich person I would be getting together clothes, toiletries, supplies, and food and finding ways to get them to houston shelters.
The money can be used to get resources from safe places for these people that are displaced rn.
Keep in mind that some of these people are making moves behind the scenes
With this rain i dont see shyt clearing upMeteorologists on Twitter saying there's another Tropical disturbance forming in the gulf right now that will hit CC and some of Houston next week. If the highways clear up by this weekend y'all need to get the fukk outta there brehs.
CNN got son'd
I read that almost three million more people who live there than when I used to live there almost 20 years agoNot sure but very possible.
I've been in Houston 5 years and theres so much more than there was when I first got here.
The money is the easy part. If you can't even get a pledge more than a bench player or a throw away roster spot, there is no way you're going to put forth the effort for the bolded.
I know my firm is matching contributions up to 100% and also pays out all administrative fees making sure the dollars get to the victims.
The point of my post was to illustrate that the money is never lacking. If JJ Watt were to go down with an ACL tear tomorrow, the texans would sign someone to the roster worth more than the 1.5 in relief funds he raised within 24hrs of putting him on IR. It's us in the middle class who are breaking the bank.
