Glad you said this because TK pops is a proud donor. TK is just smart enough to stay quiet on politics

If Jake Hager is to be believed, Snowman is a communist who threatened his job because he proudly supports Trump

"Y'all" :dead:

unless I have a twin, you not catching my furry ass in any of those threads damn the big 4.

Hell I just getting fukkery dosages off of news and GIFs.

Trust I have been gang and it's been glorious. It's not even about the good old boy shyt, it's just boring now that the marks took over, the GOATs are old, dead, or retired and the book is not even fresh.

Every promotion is the same ole shyt. My final damn was given when OmGOATs had to get snatched up from NOAH and Bozilla stepping away from wrestling.

Im like Boadie from The Wire watching the game become this miserable slog of MAGAts, neckbeardom, and dumb ass wrestlers tweeting their problems with booking.

It's tiresome

Lmao I’m basically poot from the wire. I got my ass off the block and went to go sell shoes at foot locker. Marlo was moving too crazy, I had to go make an honest living

Look, I get what you're saying, but let's not act like it's on us to dictate how every Black person engages with this. The reality is, we navigate a country that makes everything a lot more complicated for us, because every choice we have to make comes with layers. Some folks might watch it because it's a hobby, it's entertainment, or maybe it's a form of escapism. And I think that's valid. We all deserve to enjoy things without constantly being weighed down by the stress of everything going on in the world.

I think a lot of people forget that Black people are allowed to have hobbies. We have the right to enjoy the things that we like, even if that means engaging with a problematic system or person in a way that doesn't feel like direct resistance. It doesn't make us complicit in everything we don't directly protest. We are still existing in a world that treats us as disposable in many ways, so we don't need to be policed on how we handle our own mental health or what we choose to engage with.

So, if someone wants to watch WrestleMania, that's their call. It doesn't take away from their fight or their awareness of the issues. No one should have to feel like they're "apart of the problem" for finding a way to survive and even enjoy their life in a country that constantly undermines us.
I hear you but I disagree with this take completely

I think anyone who likes and enjoys what’s going on in WWE continuing to watch WrestleMania and WWE in general going forward is completely valid. If you love it, love away and enjoy yourself.

That’s not who my posts are directed toward. I’m talking to the people who do have an issue with the company. The people who think the show is racist, is ran by racists etc. for you to genuinely believe that and still watch and interact with the show on a weekly /semi daily basis is not respectable. It literally means you have no backbone. You’re allowing a show to spit in your face because you like things about it, despite having alternatives that seem to respect you and what you claim to stand for

I’d never support something that I felt hated me and my kind. I don’t care what it is. If I thought the Lakers were ran by racists bigots, you’d never see me buy another ticket. I’d have no problem watching another franchise and no longer supporting the team I’ve been attached to since birth until there was new ownership.

So yes, if you’re screaming injustice and racism in this thread just to turn around and live chat about the show on Saturday, you are absolutely part of the problem. This isn’t about the people who don’t care and just wanna be entertained. If that’s your stance, I respect it and even co-sign to a degree. But if you DO have an issue and are still choosing to watch along, you’re not standing on business. Not saying you have to boycott but not supporting is the only real way to get results.

If I think the service at a restaurant is prejudice so I continue to eat there every day but complain about the service to my friends online, i accomplish absolutely nothing. Taking my business elsewhere is quite literally the only option. Especially when the owner is in interviews saying my online opinions aren’t real. If I continue to eat there I’m letting them play in my face at that point.

You just need to use a better gif.
This is counter productive.

Framing his destructive tactics as "genius," is not only excusing dangerous behavior but actively participating in the same culture of normalizing hate. This isn't a matter of appreciating "charisma" or "media savvy," it's a refusal to see that Trump's brand of so-called "heat" is fueled by a desire to uphold white supremacy. Triple H isn't just ignorant here, he's complicit. His words aren't just thoughtless, they're part of the very same media culture that gave Trump a platform in the first place. And for someone with so much influence in entertainment to downplay or completely ignore the real-world impact of this kind of rhetoric is as irresponsible as it gets, but par for the course. It's honestly just another example of how Triple H refuses to confront the racism in his own world, in WWE and beyond.

Prolific posting

Again, the most basic explanation is that WWE is owned by same people who own UFC. And UFC is the biggest MAGA propaganda in sports.

Add the fact that trump is in the office and triple K instead of saying shyt between the lines, he now has more freedom to say exactly what he wants to say. He's always been a racist parasite.

This is a 100% MAGA owned product.

Moving forward its going to be like in old school wrestling days when white male was the savior the ultimate babyface.... And foreigners + American minorities would be playing either dumb goofy gimmicks or straight up evil heel characters.... So a white man would come and save the day, like in old days.

New Jack was a crazy lunatic, but ironically he probably made the most sense when talking about WWE. This business is nothing but whoever bends over the most.

@Larry With the way these past few months have unfolded (not talking about the booking) with Hunter/Linda, Hunter's comments on Schultz, Hunter bringing in Tony Hinchcliffe, etc.. Has it changed your opinion on Hunter?

I’ll put it like this..

It has and it hasn’t. It’s hard for me to believe Triple H hates nikkaRZ in the coli sense (that nikka is Schillinger on Oz to yall lol)

It’s mainly hard for me to believe because I see Bianca, Melo, Big E and the countless other black talent as smart people and decent judges of character. These are people that are happily employed over there with no plans of leaving. They smile with dude, hug on him, sing his praises in interviews. It’s hard for me to believe someone like Bianca happily represent someone she thinks wants her to hang from a tree. If I believed that, I’m basically calling her and all the black talent over there stupid or ya’ll favorite, c00ns. I gotta give the black talent the benefit of doubt. I don't think Bianca and them are c00ning for masa. I think their experience with him is whatever their experience is

But I do think Triple H has always been right wing republican. Same with Steph and the McMahon family. I think a lot of the locker room is on board with that and have shown us that over the years, just look at nikkas like Braun Strowman. Do I think being Republican is mutually exclusive to = hates nikkars? Not exactly. But I do think people who align with right wing rhetoric don’t exactly align or push for our interests. Like I said, shyt like this makes it so much easier for me to continue not watching

So in short, I don’t think Triple H hates black people, but I do think him, his buddies (even yall precious HBK) and WWE in general is on some right wing conservative cracka shyt which will never prioritize black culture unless it’s to monetize.

So y’all have fun with that but for me wrestling is a thing of the past

No trolling, I value this post. You put some real thought into it and I always appreciate that. It's much better to actually read/see where someone is coming from laid out like this instead of what the sub usually devolves into on some "fukk you, go kill yourself!!" shyt Lol.

I agree with some of what you said as well. The biggest issue to me is what Trump currently represents. I'm sure you're familiar with everything going on with deportations/ICE, erasing of black history, attacks on DEI, attacks on education, promoting of white supremacy in not-so-subtle ways...

I think if this administration was on some regular old Conservative GOP bullshyt, a thread like this wouldn't even exist. What would there be to talk about? "Triple H is a Republican!" and it'd be met with a big "so what?" and excuses of tax breaks and the whole nine would be brought up and would likely resonate. Everyone would forget about it.

The reason this exists now is because of how far right the current admin has gone and with Triple H it is such horrible optics to be sitting there behind Linda as she speaks on DEI etc.. What a bad look that was....
