nxt is allowed to be more interesting because since its technically a developmental promotion, they can pay the talent less while reaping the benefits from merchandising and touring. its kind of like college sports in a way. it also draws business away from indies, either by raiding top talent or through providing a more intimate and affordable show that also happens to be under the wwe banner.

I don't know why all you dudes keep thinking Triple H will do something. He buried and chased off one of the best wrestlers of this generation. Ever since CM Punk left, the product has gone absolutely south. He took credit for NXT when Dusty was the one who put in work. Vince been for a minute, but cats really think Triple H is some savior to the company and really not going to get any of the blame right? Like Stephanie wasn't responsible for setting back and killing the NXT girls on the main roster with her promo from the jump and going hashtag Divas Revolution at every Divas segment? HHH has shown that the ideal guy he wants and rolls with as top guys are the Randy Orton, Batista, Sheamus, Roman Reigns', etc. types just like Vince. Everyone getting hyped off of NXT when all he is trying to do is run ROH out of business and dry up the Indy market by trying to make NXT into a WWE Indy fed. He is a mark for himself and holds onto grudges, at least Vince will literally do business with anybody no matter what they say or do to him (I.e. Bret Hart, Ultimate Warrior, Sable, etc.). You think he is going to forgive or let what CM Punk said to him slide? Vince wouldn't care as long as Punk would want to come back and make him money because he is a business man at the end of the day. Does HHH even have a college experience? If you counter with Stephanie, good luck with that since the WWE has been on the decline ever since she took over as head of creative. Nobody from the McMahons or HHH are the answers to rebuild the WWE. They just need to go on a full blown tank mode and pray to fall ass backwards into a big time star again.

Glad I'm not the only one who sees this. NXT is ROH with better production values.

Another thing, you think Triple H can run Raw and Smackdown like he runs NXT? NXT isn't under any pressure to bring in ratings,draw money(this could be changing with the increased touring), or please network executives. 3 hour Raws aren't going anywhere because USA wants the ad dollars so forget about that. With Raw and SD, they will have to book to try to draw casuals and not please indy smarks. Dumb product plugs (Sonic) aren't going anywhere. Bad comedy isn't going anywhere.

They aren't reaping benefits though. NXT/performance center operates at a loss. Now maybe they will start turning a profit with all of this touring and if they keep selling out arenas but right now they aren't. Still, it's exceedingly well booked and everyone is over. That's more than can be said for the main roster. lol
