Relegation has never caught on in the US though. They CAN write a good one off story about Apollo, Gable or Breeze going down to NXT, finding themselves and coming back, but for the most part the people going back to NXT would be seen as losers and failures. They really need to get going on deavoring folks thats in the way.

I wouldn’t call it a demotion. Some of these men and women could use a change of scenery. Take their character in a different direction. Most of the NXT call ups shined their brightest there.

Relegation just isn't used in US soccer cause they were afraid that it was too foreign for american audiences but you're right, wrestlers going down to NXT would be seen as failures. Though, on the flipside, you could use that as part of storylines. But obviously 2018 cokeboy can't pull it off.

The talent that was called up to nxt should never have been in nxt to begin with.

The WWE has nerve to make it like they need to orientate talent. When the talent they bring in, the WWE needs to follow the talent they brought legacy and content more and less of their burial based bullshyt. Centered around fake orientations.
Nxt is made to neuter the real talent and steal their draw.

NXT was supposed to be developmental, and all that's gonna do is take even more time away from people who legit aren't ready to be called up.


I would like to see more main roster stars go down to NXT from time to time tho.
