I'd like to see an old school type angle where either Roman or AJ go down to NXT and defend the title in the territory against the top stars
How is aj going to plausibly go down to nxt given whom aj styles is.
Only way to even get that over is on one night, and only if wwe signed omega..then slappd omega in the face by having him be oriented in nxt like some green WWE in house talent they neutered, purposefully.
then gave burial based advice that was completely send off and wrong in nature. That rendered the talent into over thinking. Resulting in giving the talent deer in the headlights at the very least.
So, fukk no. That would be a horrible idea.
The WWE has no need for nxt anymore anyway. As there are no more heros who saved Indy wrasslin for them to raid any longer.
To warrant having nxt up to basically socalled orientate. Yet slap real talent in the face because the WWE ruined wrasslin. That the Indy heroes saving wrasslin even occurred.
Nxt is actually done for as a thing after aj came over from njpw to the main roster. Nxt only worked.
Simply because wwe had to go to the well of some of their lesser quality better style Ol school stuff. They don't really still know how to do and never knew how to do.
as far as a workrate high quality based product. Of which if not for the Indy heros existing. Nxt would not be nxt anyway. Plus nuffin from nxt that is high quality.

So, nxt was just a sendoff for people.
who are wwe bias and wanted to see the Indy heroes systematically neutered purposefully. So nxt is a discovery zone. for the WWE to raid everything high quality about wrasslin from an Indy stand point.
That the wwe do not want to be of any value and want to strip it ultimately of any potential real boom based value. Thus rendering and burying the talent systematically from being in the nxt to wwe brand umbrella. When said talent will not benefit from nxt. Plus, WWE has no goat talker in the higher UPS. So it Is not like they are on nxt being groomed.
or given any tools to be a successful talker or vignette character either. As nxt and WWE at this time have no legacy with high quality boom programs and periods at the top. Who are well versed and adept at actually ramping wrasslin talent.
As WWE has never ramped a completely novice unexposed non related to wrasslin green in house created talent ever.
Nor will they ever. Which is why they have this second Gen based meets legacy worker based acquisition model as of late. Coupled with raiding roh/indies like the ecw raiding was active in the nineties. Which is all at the end of the well as well. Just like it was back when wwe would not give modest and Daniels a place when it made complete sense. Especially Daniels as the higher power.
Nxt is a bad idea and any of the shyt people say they like in nxt.
Is proof positive the WWE purposefully gives you a shyt sammich.
Plus the typical WWE viewer is such a myopic monolith as far as being exposed to wrasslin. That they have no frame of reference outside of the low quality WWE lense.
