You are one of few in TSC who actually talk sense

cosby-facepalm.gif

Do some of you guys understand this business at all?

Countless times HHH has talked about doing whats right for business but some of you have never fully grasped this. You have watched wrestling for decade or two, seen several shoot interviews, documentaries etc. but you still remain clueless.

You think the NY crowd wants to see guys like Cesaro and Miz? :snoop:

Nahh. They want to see the legends in action. Thats why there were so many Attitude Era/Ruthless Aggression Era guys on the card. HHH was one of these familiar faces.

Thank fuk that none of you clowns are running this business and that it is in the safe hands of HHH :whew:
If they actually booked guys like Cesaro as important players than they wouldn't need part timers. But since HHH and like 4 others have been going over the entire roster for years they can only resort to bringing in proven draws. They sabotaged their business for years and even though these Mania's are making bank it's not right for business in the long run.

Instead of trying to draw for a whole year they just care about one night and considering the quality of the show itself (29) they don't really much care about anything but the dollars and projecting a mainstream image.

With Rock gone, WWE no longer revolves around his title match against Cena which has been the case for two years. This will enable other wrestlers to get more shine. Change is gonna happen and it starts tonight :ahh:

I was gonna make another thread but F it

Agree or disagree that HHH's career is more important than UT's WM streak

I see UT/Punk actually came on before HHH/Brock at Wrestlemania in NY of all times and places......from what I hear, the crowd was :flabbynsick: after the Punk/UT match

Now...seeing as how UT's matches have been stealing the show (by that I mean stealing the crowd--Rock/Cena in Miami is an understandable exception) for the past 5 years, wouldn't they think to have his match come right before the WWE title match?

And Triple H hasn't been a full time worker in quite some time...even if he lost, what would that really mean? We wouldn't get his 2-3 matches a year? Sure as "smarks" we pretty much could see how both matches were gonna end, yet, in the eyes of WWE's demographic, how would the fear of HHH losing his in-ring career be that much of a loss? UT's streak being broken, especially to a guy who's disrespected his FAAAAAVA Paul Bearer posthumous would seem to be the bigger storyline...

Now I'm hindsighting due to the fact that the event is over...yet I still would not have even thought to have Brock/HHH or any other match not including Cena/Rock come after UT/Punk...

Was this another Triple H power-move to make himself look more important than he actually is or did you think it was the right move considering his "career" was on the line? Or was it simply Brock Lesnar's star power?

Taker/HHH @ WM pt 3 came on halfway thru Mania last year.

I would say Brocks star power was more to do with the match placement as he is the 2nd biggest name on the card.

Lesnar would've meant so much more going for a developing/new star instead of HHH. That match was pure ego, and spots that should've been exciting and enjoyable (because I didn't think it was a bad match you could just tell the crowd didn't give a shyt for most of it and didn't care)...people just don't ride with HHH like that. After the dud at SS and the crowd no selling his retirement speech he should've taken the hint.

No one is as invested in you as you are in yourself. People don't care about you like that. Lesnar was SO OVER and in control until his loss to Cena to set him up for a feud with HHH for some reason. McMahons and HHH are delusional about how much people care about them.

I think they pretty much destroyed a lot of Lesnar's well-deserved momentum with the way they booked him, and then putting him up against a guy that people aren't feeling as a hero, makes it hard to invest in him as a monster.

Just ego ego ego.

And the tag match and Punk matches suffered because of it......crowd was :snooze: after that hell in a cell. Punk/Jericho didn't get nearly the amount of crowd fare it should have. that tag match should've opened the show :upsetfavre:

Although, Miami is still one of the GOAT crowds, they got their asses back up for the main event thank Kobe :whew:

But as you know when watchin battles especially the URL ones that great performances/battles will kill a crowd for whoever is on next, the rollercoaster effect. They could of easily fitted some BS inbetween the 3 ME matches.

If anything it their time management which is the issue. They have a 4 hour slot and 3 matches took up 70mins of action then the remaining 5 matches took up another 45-50mins. So thats 2 hours of actually inring action, where did the missing 1 hour and 45mins go? The Hof, Special Olympics & Diddy took up what altogether 30mins and then add the entrances thats shouldnt of taken no more than 15-20mins altogether.
