Why? Just so Square can be money hungry and release Chrono Trigger across 3 seperate games all priced at $60 dollars each like they did the final fantasy 7 remake.

Square Enix has released the “Final” trailer for Trials of Mana, as well as announced it will release a demo for the game for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on March 18.
The demo will allow users to play the beginning of the game, from when the protagonist meets the party members they choose to adventure with, to the Fullmetal Hugger boss battle. Players will be able to freely choose their party combination, as well as carry their save data over to the full game when it launches.
Additionally, several outlets including Gematsu have gone up with pre-launch gameplay footage from the game’s opening segments.

Square Enix has released new information and screenshots of Trials of Mana detailing the game’s post-ending new episode, Class 04, and Li’l Cactus.
Get the details below.
■ New Episode & Class 04
After you have reached the ending in Trials of Mana, you will be able to experience a new episode. The story traces back to the end of your adventure—the heroes discovers a message from a certain someone in the Valsena Library. There, they learn of the existence of Class 04. In order to change classes, they depart for lands that have ties with them.
By keeping your save data after clearing the new episode, you will be able to select “New Game Plus” from the main menu and play from the beginning of the game with some data carried over, including GP, regular items, Link Abilities, Li’l Cactus discoveries, and more. Characters that completed the new episode that were protagonists or party members will be able to experience even more episodes in New Game Plus since their clear level carries over.

ill try the demo on the pro tho...once again too many damn games
Yeah that's my real issue too.
Usually I like the switch, but if there is a significant graphical or frame rate difference I'll go with PS4.
Not a fan of console games on steam like that so that's out of the question
