Trevor Lawrence was supposed to be "generational"

We've seen him play spectacular before, so I'm not just gonna say that hes trash all a sudden....

but he hasnt really been spinning it this year. With the way Jags defense has been playing hes had the luxury of game managing his way to victories. Today he played an elite defense that was coming off a BYE and is firing on all cylinders. This game aside, he has been disappointing thus far, ive expected more from him this year

Lot of QB regression in the AFC this year but Lawrence’s struggles really stand out. I don’t know what to make of that team. Sometimes they look great, sometimes they look bad, all while Lawrence makes bone headed mistakes. Similar to the Josh Allen situation.

99% of the time when a guy is supposed to be generational he doesn't live up to it. And that's not a knock. Being a special, once in a generation player is not common by definition. Dude is a good QB and he's gonna get paid a billion dollars for the next 20 years

good as it gets with this coach and offensive system. They are still 6-3 and I see them taking their division.

He just not polished to me, like he has the size, has a big arm , can run as well but he doesn’t that the other stuff that makes a QB special it’s like he’s gotten by off physical tools all his life

When he got drafted all I kept hearing about was his size,arm and build. This aint 1960,none of that should still matter anymore. Its just a cheap way to pretend the QB position has realistic measurables. When really its just a crapshoot for the most part

He's had bad o line play which has led to bad play calling.. Everything is horizontal instead of downfield

They aren't being creative with Ridley at all.. They're just sticking him outside for the most part and asking him to beat the man in front of him.. Ridley is near the top of the league at getting pressed and damn near last in the amount of times he's in motion

We're also damn near last in routes run deep..

Trevors problem is the amount of times he fumbles in the pocket.. He used to make one wtf throw a game but that's chilled out.. But I don't see too much of an issue with Trevor, he's doing what he's told..


I said the oline was an issue at the beginning of the year.. It showed against KC and it really showed against SF
