ThisIt's a new era I guess.
I didn't think it was a dirty hit at all.
Just bad timing.
The NFL used to have tougher hits than that. And it wasn't that long ago.
Hell, ESPN had a "jacked up" segment like 10 years ago.

Man I’d truck the fukk outta aj brownThats the chickenshyt I talk about, but there isnt a SINGLE defender that will attempt to wrap and bring down an AJ Brown on the perimeter, but become Billy Badass when it comes to missiling HEADFIRST towards a diving QB.
Ive seen a LOT of refs let incidental contact go as long as a defender DOESNT attempt stupid shyt like the Kiko Alonso shyt trying to take off the head.
He should've kept running towards the sidelines but decided to run back to the field of play making him a free runner, IMO.Yea, no matter what punishment al-Shaair gets, TL has to live with the effects of this hit for the rest of his life.
You’re comprehending what I’m saying wrong. Def was a flagI'm not entirely sure why you think this makes sense when the league has already established an environment to protect QBs from shyt like this.
This isn't the 80s.
This isn't a case where the contact was incidental and Aziz tried to mitigate the contact that he inflicted on Lawrence, which he could've easily done whilst also making sure that he completed a tackle (which wouldn't have gone further than a rudimentary flag). But instead this muh'fukka intentionally went head-hunting on a player he knew would be in a vulnerable state. It was a p*ssy ass cowardice ass move that he wouldn't dare attempt on someone like Barkley or Henry.
I gotta question someone's agenda if they're downplaying this.
Wasn’t last secondIn today’s NFL that hit is illegal
You can blame Trevor for deciding to slide at the last second but Al-Shamir leaned with his forearm that makes it look dirty and intentional.
they should get rid of the slide. fukk it. Once you start running, you're a running back. Most QB's don't know how to use it any way. They will wait until the very last second to do it, and in some instances when the defender has already committed at full speed.
And Lawrence is 6’6, he shouldn’t have to slide in the first place. They should really think about it. Sliding exposes yourself and a lot of these QBs wait until the last minute to slide. And then you have QBs like Josh Allen who's gonna exploit this sliding rule and truck defenders for extra yards.
He launched at the same time that the QB began to slide…Listen up... when the QB begins to slide you cannot dive at him like that. Some of you don't know the rules
Who launch to tackle someone with both forearms? How are you going to tackle someone with your forearms? It was not a dirty hit. Unfortunate but not dirty.
The defender just happened to launch at the exact same time that the QB started his slide.
Speaking of which , I had noticed some years back that "Jacked Up" was discontinued after the death of Daryl Stingley (who was paralyzed as a result of a "Jacked Up" hit from Jack Tatum).
