Huh? Reword this. What does that even mean
No one was streaming the re release of a 10 year old mixtape. People bought merch that counted towards sales the 1st week
ARE YOU SAYING HE WAS #1 ONE WEEK
AND NOT ON THE CHARTS THE VERY
NEXT WEEK?
:edit: I SEE IT WAS
SOME VINYL SALES fukkERY
This is a vinyl re-release of a 10 year old mixtape. It going #1 at all is about as strong of a display of having "real fans" as you can ask for. 99% of y'all favorite rappers not doing thatThe lesson is, like Scarface said, "these people don’t have real fans".
Doesn't matter how old the music was. People only f*cked with it for a few days, then they were off to some other sh*t a week later. That means, it didn't make any new fans, and it also couldn't retain any of the old ones either. So the music is wack, and the listeners don’t f*ck with it after a week. That's the story.
What you’re saying makes no sense whatsoever. People are actively spending money specifically on Travis Scott rather than just hitting play on the same playlists that shoot most hits up in the charts and somehow that counts against him? Please explain your logic.Everything to do with this guy's sales are a scam it's always either tied to tickets, merch or both
It means the album isn't the reason they're spending money. They can buy whatever they want but he's gaming the system and you know thatWhat you’re saying makes no sense whatsoever. Man, I KNEW it...I had a feeling for about a Decade now .... Nyggas ain't feeling this nygga like that!
What a group of Travis Scott fans look like?
I’m not invested in this argument but to me people going out and spending actual money buying a vinyl of a ten year old album is a far greater indication of popularity than streams derived from placement on the 20 most popular playlists but hey reasonable people can disagree. It means the album isn't the reason they're spending money. Fell from number one to not charting at all.
It came and went.I have literally never met a Travis Scott fan...
That's fair, if it's someone buying the vinyl then I absolutely agree. If it's someone buying a limited edition hoodie or tickets to the show and getting a copy of the album that counts towards billboard sales, I don't think that should count IMOI’m not invested in this argument but to me people going out and spending actual money buying a vinyl of a ten year old album is a far greater indication of popularity than streams derived from placement on the 20 most popular playlists but hey reasonable people can disagree.
