I have listened to Utopia several times now and to me it’s easily rap album of the year. The production is almost flawless and Travis is rapping his ass off here. He might not be saying much, but his flows are wild and fit with the music to a T.
My only complaint is that the last song should have just been Travis for two verses. We didn’t need 21.
It’s crazy to think some of these songs are several years old and the finished product sounds light years ahead of most mainstream music. I’m really happy that he didn’t try to make Astroworld two and continues to push his limits.
