They episode kinda explained itself. The director knew they were going to get all killed, but only could only intervene up into a certain point in the timeline. So he keep send travelers down to try to stop It. But It was only a certain amount of times they could be sent before they died(like the girl did).Show is flames. Had to just let the shyt slide.
That nikka at the skydiving landing spot tho
Did they ever fully explain that whole episode
with the travelers repeating their missions over and over? Only loose end in a very complex story
The rule up until that time was that they could only travel back as far as the last traveler arrival. They even showed McLaren saying so from an old episode before it started. So travelers repeating missions was revealed on this episode with no explanation. Also, the attempts were counting upwards, not down. No telling how many they had to use. They episode kinda explained itself. The director knew they were going to get all killed, but only could only intervene up into a certain point in the timeline. And it was only a certain amount of time they could be sent before they couldn’t stop It from happening(it had the amount of attempts on the screen whenever they transferred into the skydiver).
But It could mean that there are bunch of alt timelines and the director is creating a bunch of timelines until he/she gets the perfect outcome.
I take it he had the schizo dude rebuild the transfer machine in the present then had himself transferred into the Shrink and while the schizo dude transferred his own self in Vincent Ingram now no longer schizo?
Just finished the finale The team caught some serious Ls. Vincent Ingram is trill as fukk though, dude pretty much solo'd The Faction and The Director almost all on his own and I'm not sure if he's even wrong for what he's doing.

wait who transferred themselves into the shrink? I must have missed that part. I thought he was just using her
so basically he made her retarded as an expiriment? Because I thought it was implied that she was born that way.
Oh ok. Yea that’s deep.He was using her. Vincent Ingram aka Traveler 001 transferred himself into Dr. Perrow, his shrink, so he's a woman now It was a plot to shake The Director off him and to make sure his son wasn't collateral.
Where things got confusing for me is what happened to Simon, the schizophrenic dude that built the traveler machine for Vincent. I assume since the body he was in had a mental illness, he transferred his consciousness to Vincent Ingram's body, so he wasn't schizo anymore. That was Vincent's promise to him, which was making him whole again if you think about it.
damn I ain’t think of none of that
The reveal and twist with Marcy was that before she was retarded she was a nurse at a mental institution. Once Vincent Ingram found Simon (one of the workers of the traveler machine in the future), they worked together in that mental institute to rebuild the machine in the 21st century and test it on the patients there in the guise of helping them. Marcy was getting suspicious of Ingram when patients weren't coming back from Ingram's experiments. So Vincent buys her cooperation with a contract which also included that the tests get performed on her. The machine fukked her brain up and Ingram covered his tracks by deleting Marcy's former life and had her admitted to same institute
Once the institute went under, Marcy was sent out on the streets where she met the social worker David Mailer.

This revelation went completely over my head, that I should be ashamed of myself. Talk about doing her dirty. I’ve remembered the experiments, but it didn’t occur to me that originally Marcy was functional. Thinking about it, Vincent/Simon/Marcy flashbacks wasn’t hitting me, so I didn’t give it my full attention.
Travelers is one of the shows to rewatch a season. I didn’t realize how great Season 1 was until rewatching it a week before Season 2 on Netflix, and Season 2 was even better. We need a Season 3.
And she was still mentally there also bro. She keep telling people she use to work there and was telling David he was her boyfriend.TBH, I had to restart that flashback episode too. Marcy is my least favorite of McClaren's team so I kind of went into multitask mode when they went into her past. When I saw that she was working as a nurse I went what time frame was this happening?!

She knew what he was happening, but her brain was scrambled
But my question did 001 know she would be a traveler or was that a lucky guess
Unless he memorized the list of every possible candidate before he was sent back then no. And even so, not everyone who dies becomes a traveler. If anything, I'd say it was an unlucky (for him) coincidence
