USA way of seeing things is better than Latin America IMO. USA, black people view "Blackness" in shades of diversity kind of way. Latin Americans run away from blackness and towards whiteness. They have a reverse type of One Drop system.

it's only b ecause their rhetoric is so dangerous when left unchecked. they think they're gaining allies and breeding out cacs with their logic. meanwhile, in reality, they're creating our half-white replacements, while slowly breeding black americans out.

i dont want to share our genetic diversity with cacs, i dont want to further dilute our tribe with half breeds. blackness MUST be centered around the black woman and her ability to give birth to black children.

No, my point was that new world blacks, in this case Aframs are not "pure" in the first place so your analogy with Japanese and Koreans was wrong. Accepting biracials isn't going to breed out Aframs who stand at 35 million +. It would take millions upon millions of biracials for that to happen

Well to start, did you read the story that the OP posted?
Have you ever spoken with a mixed person with a slashed race identity? meaning they claim their "race" to be Irish/indian/brazillian /german and they might or might not add black
Have you read stories of mixed folks using the fact that they were raised around alot of whites as reason why they don't identify as black

The modern day rules are indirect in the sense that it used to be a Blood LAW.




This law no longer exists and today you can self identify as anyway you please but the legacy of those laws/practices live on today. So the modern Afram tribe spans a range of phenotypes from the darkest black to pale and white looking. Now everybody else has been conditioned to accept these diverse phenotypes as "black". Now, today, even though you can self identify how ever you want, your appearance will determine how you will be seen and if you show any clear African features you will be Phenotypically One Dropped. This is whats happening to modern day biracials.
