I remember going through that exact same shyt! I was trying to explain to my aunt I wanted a memory card for my birthday, because my PS1 was hotter than fish grease because I was playing Final Fantasy 7 and NOT turning it off because I couldn't save!

Also got tired of playing Tekken 2 with the same default ni99as because I couldn't save the extra characters you get after you beat it
