i know you're slow so i'll excuse you, but the framing of the title and references to Dave are the reason it's the narrative. not the people making it clear that Dave isn't at fault, since most people won't actually read the article. transgender people commit suicide everyday b, the reason they wrote about this one was to try and spin it to Dave. obviously those who read the article, most importantly the woman's own words from her facebook posting will know the truth. the author can't really change that much.
