Empire Magazine will be featuring a piece on Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Director Michael Bay in its September 2009 issue.

Michael Bay was quoted in the post as saying this about the possible introduction of the Dinobots for Transformers 3:

"They've never been discussed [for inclusion]" stated Bay. "I don't like them. Actually, I hate them."

Could the director of the 10th most domestically grossing film in movie history be throwing us an early "misinformation" loop well before production of the third film begins? Let us know what you think by clicking Discuss this topic above.

“A metaphor that identifies the exact moment a TV show has reached its creative peak. Or to put it bluntly, it’s the beginning of the end of a once great show. The moment in which it becomes clear the writers are out of good ideas and the show has begun its decent downhill. It’s usually some ridiculous stunt, story line, major character change, or huge fundamental shift in the premise of the show that is viewed as nothing more than a desperate attempt to raise viewership and declining ratings.”

DOTM was the highest grossing of the series and better received than ROTF. They don't need to jump the shark.

They're out of ideas, clearly, if they're bringing a robot tyranosaurus rex that breaths fire. I mean read that description :mjlol:

But there's nothing ridiculous about bringing a character that's been around since the 80s. They didn't create a T-Rex Transformer out of thin air. Grimlock is one of the most popular Transformers and is straight from the source material.

yo what happened to the original cast? Shia, Tyrese, his commander, that weird ex commander guy etc...

If they're going to have a new cast why not just reboot it?

Looks dope though cant wait

They replaced them with Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, and Kelsey Grammar....much better actors. Plus Peter Cullen and Frank Welker as Optimus and Galvatron. Two old friends about to go at it....again. :myman:

Nah, breh. The stars of these movies (although you can't tell sometimes) are the Transformers. The human element can be interchangeable. Besides, Shia's story is done and the Transformers are on the run now. All they need to do is a brief mention (if that even) and keep it moving.
