I think I liked the first 45 mins more than the last 45 mins. Damn near bust out laughing at the barn scene.

Not scary, but very interesting/watchable. The drama/acting was so good that at times I felt like it should be in another movie. One where we weren't sure that there was a witch out there at all.

Still a good film.

Good breakdown for those just watching it as well.

One thing this movie has made me immune to is the "not scary" thing and thus saying it's not a horror movie. Horror is subjective. Shyt child's play isn't scary to me but that doesn't make it less of a horror flick

People really didn't like this? From the first time you see the witch to the part with the goat and then at the end I was . That witch was looking good though Watched the movie last night and cant stop thinking about how disturbing it is. Also can relate to the family tearing apart because of what happened to the baby.

Just watched this and enjoyed it.

A steady unsettling and chilling vibe throughout. Horror movies aren't really my favorite genre, but I liked it more than say It Follows which got a lot of hype around it.

Acting was really good, I knew Ana was getting a lot of buzz from this, but the actor who played young Caleb did his thing as well . Even the little twins were solid.

Another reason why I have no love for farm animals or the woods

It's probably the best film about witches and the patriarchal construct around them that I've seen. While the dialogue was tough to digest and does take away from its scope, I understand why it was a necessary element. Definitely not a film for everybody, especially if you can't be bothered with subtext.

I'm not. I am chicken shyt when it comes to scary shyt. This wasn't scary at all. More like a drama with some suspense. I guess graphic images makes it a horror.

Uh the imagery plus the characters slow descent into absolute murderous madness. Similar shyt actually happened in real life (minus witches actually being real). It's a completely plausible situation based on the beliefs and knowledge of people at that time. Idk how that doesn't disturb you. It doesn't have stupid cheap jump scares if that's what you're looking for.
