This dude is another Marv Levy. Except for actually going to Super Bowls, he's the Marv Levy of NFC chip games.

I still can't understand how people don't see he's over rated and not an elite coach. This has been a stacked team for years. Coaches salivate over this type of talent and would won a few Super Bowls with this team.

Yeah he’s a stud. Dude stood up to Vita Vea but maybe a double dose of Armstead and Hargrave will do the trick. The Lions have a solid offense line, esp if the refs let Sewell hold Bosa as much as he did in 2021.

I’m really hoping that our offense just has one of those games where even if the Lions score 30+ it doesn’t matter because we put up 45. Good weather with everyone suiting up…they need to get it done and get us to the Super Bowl.

I’m really hoping that our offense just has one of those games where even if the Lions score 30+ it doesn’t matter because we put up 45. Good weather with everyone suiting up…they need to get it done and get us to the Super Bowl.

The Lions have been decent at stopping the run but CMC’s matchup-proof at this point. He’s good for 100+ yards and/or a TD every game. The fact that Detroit’s back seven has been rough all year sets up for a bounce back game for the passing offense. As long as it doesn’t rain (and it shouldn’t on Sunday), Brock will be fine. But I know y’all are gonna be annoyed/stressed when there’s more passes than runs to start the game

And I don’t see the defense finishing with 0 sacks again. Goff can’t move and he’ll be a sitting duck in the pocket, especially if Detroit’s behind the sticks on 3rd-and-longs. They’ll put up a good fight, but I think we’ll end up going back to the Bowl

The Minnesota game is what makes me nervous. No pressure + giving the receivers 8 yard cushions let Covid Kirk pick us apart. Wilks has adjusted since then but I’m still putting this on the offense.

Detroit has a good offense so I get if the defense has a tough go of it but if the offense lays an egg it’s inexcusable. I don’t think Detroits defense is as soft as people say, the past six games they’ve actually been comparable to our defense, but with all the talent we have on offense…if we lose then it’s on them imo. Unless we lose 73-70.

That's also my fear but man, having the same type of horrible performance on defense against a Dome team at home? There's no excuse for that either. Like, I don't expect the defense to be able to stop Detroit from scoring 2-3 TDs if the Lions are smart enough to run Gibbs and Montgomery a lot. But I do expect them to show up on 3rd & long and not let Goff do us like Cousins did.

And yeah, the offense will have to carry us this game and they are due. Like I said, they last game I felt Kyle nailed the game plan and the offense looked was against the Cardinals and that was 5 fukking weeks ago. No goddamn excuses and please let's not rely on Moody.
