So how y’all wanna go at Detroit this weekend. I see a lot of people calling for a run heavy attack but legit the only thing their defense does well is stop the run.
I say we go balanced/lean towards the pass honestly. Despite last weekend I still think Brock can get it done and if it’s not a monsoon 100% think he’s capable of carving Detroit up. Baker just had a hell of a game with less talent surrounding him and a lesser playcaller.

Need to establish the run to soften that up and run play action. I suspect that there will be some big plays to be had but we still need to commit to the run.

I saw White have a couple of big runs against that defense on Sunday, and Tampa has a bad running game (he averaged 6 yards per carry in only 9 touches).
I would try to establish the run first to get Brock more comfortable. We gotta learn the kid doesn't need to feel like this championship run relies solely on him because that's when he looks at this worst, as he forces stuff to make shyt happen while we abandon CMC for no real reason.

I don't disagree with that. That's why I don't have the same feeling about this team or the Harbaugh teams as I do about the '94 team because I've watch perfection. I've watched what a shut down defense looks like before, I've watched what a perfect offense looks like before. I've seen Jerry Rice in his prime. I've seen Steve Young in his prime. I've seen Steve Young throw 6 TDs with 0 INTs in the Super Bowl. I understand what the standard is.
But at the same time, I don't think there's a lot of coaches out there better than Shanny, especially with his run designs and the passing offense he creates out of the same formations/looks. He's a legit mastermind on offense. But he has flaws like when he has to go off script or make second half adjustments or clock management or overall game management. I see the flaws but 99% of coaches out there right now are worse.
