If this is the case then just fire Wilks and get someone that knows how to be more like Saleh/DeMeco. It shows really bad knowledge from our management if they didn't see this coming to be honest.

Demeco used to piss me off at times but we tightened up towards the end of the season especially last year. One thing he did was make excellent adjustments at half time.

I don't know if he knows how to act on the sideline or not but there's something to be said about coming off the field and getting direct coaching instead of relaying messages. Like "ay, coach said you playing like trash breh, tighten up" instead of coach gathering the team up and showing them in real time what he sees and holding folks accountable in real time.

Like I said, if that's the case then hiring WIlks seems like a total whiff by the front office.

And it's not like Kocurek isn't right there yelling at Bosa and his crew after every drive either.

I know Wilks specialty is the secondary and Carolina played well under him when he took over. Difference was... he was on the sidelines directly coaching.

The question shouldn’t be why we hired him, but who else was available? At the time maybe Wilks was the best fit, but we are seeing it’s not. It’s the nature of the beast. The last two both landed hc jobs (deservedly so) it was inevitable for this to happen.
