Your original claim in the dust
It's not. Relax. 3 songs on an album is mid. I personally don't think any song is as good as fast car. None of the others are repeats for me. For you? I guess u like 36 percent of the album.... that's a mid album b. Relax. Have a snack. It's a wrap. Go get in your fast car and sit the hell down brother.

You are either a terrible liar or lack reading comprehension. You wrote:

“The rest of the album was mid.” Aside from Fast Car. That is your claim!

There’s at least 4 great songs on her debut album, as demonstrated in this thread. You conceded later on in this thread and just now that there’s (at least) 3 good tracks on it.

Just use logic - your claim, that there’s only one good song on that album had been rendered moot by your own concession that there’s 3 good tracks on her record.

So either, you refute your own concession or you keep lying/refuse to re-read what you’ve written!

Damn, I didn’t know that the CMAs gave out Grammies.
:childplease:
Folk music isn't country music. The folk music scene respected and still respects Tracy Chapman. I don't get where you think she wasn't until a country singer did a cover of one of her songs.

:ohhh: Oh snap, this came out in 88?? Why was I listening to this at age 7/8? This was my shyt, I had the album on tape. :skip:

I didn't know she was in ABC. :ehh: (@#1 pick)

Raised a Baptist, she attended an Episcopal high school[5] and was accepted into the program A Better Chance, which sponsors students at college preparatory high schools away from their home communities. She graduated from Wooster School in Connecticut then attended Tufts University, majoring in Anthropology.[4][3][7][8] While a student at Tufts, she busked in nearby spots, including Harvard Square and on MBTA Red Line platforms.
I hear she’s into Polyamory

When we were kids, we thought she was a man, until we saw her in a skirt...
