True, true, true...It's kinda like women when you think about it. A chick'll be havin' fun, til she sees another girl step in the room. And the other girl could give her the utmost respect and not do nothin' wrong to her at all, and she'll still look at her dirty and start talkin' down for no other reason than because there's another woman around.
And it's extra funny when Nas and Jay are concerned, because by perception, Jay was an underling who wasn't the star Nas was... how you gonna be on the verge of becoming a superstar and throw shots at a "new" nikka who gave you props?

Incredible article man. I mean I always knew these dudes put it down but I never KNEW. Honestly these dudes deserve to be in that rare conversation of elite producers. Without question. They provided the soundtrack to some of the best years in hip hop

There's a few I feel they neglected to mention, like the "Loungin" remix by LL, the Michael Jackson/Jay remix of "Rock My World", Noreaga's "NORE"... but yeah, their catalog and history is kinda slept on.
Was surprised to see they did "Ill Street Blues". I always thought that was Large Professor. They gave it to the right guy tho'. Classic street shyt.
