Whats the big deal about a black man in a dress that bothers everyone..

Martin made up a female character.. Jaime Foxx did ..

and they were the creators of their own shows.. I feel like this whole outrage about a black man in dress all all about a bunch of nothing..Im saying the skit wasnt funny to me, but I dont feel offended or embarrassed by it either

Dave Chapelle said he didn't like it and now everybody hopped on his bandwagon just cause.

Black scholars have been talking about Hollywood putting black men in dresses for decades.

What are you talking about?

Well I never heard any of the static when the likes of Martin, Jaime Foxx and Larry Johnson were doing it for laughs back in the day..

Unless you can post another prominent reference This all started with Dave Chapelle in the minds of most (even just look the 11th post in this very thread)

Read up on Dr Frances Cress Welsing. She has discussed this topic and her theories on this since the 70's/80's. She had a segment on Hidden Colors ( forgot which volume) discussing the emasculation of the Black male. Researchers in the 70's predicted these images of Black men would become more prominent in media and entertainment.

idgaf what y'all say.. Sha Nay Nay was hilarious ..

Some of this shyt is corny to me but to make it a racial thing is dumb because the whole men dressing up as women is not exclusive to just black actors.. White people do the shyt too

Not for nothing but people seems to forget that Dave Chappelle had on a dress in Robin Hood Men In Tights

98% of the time it's comedians doing it and it's not like they're walking around in Real Life with one on.:yeshrug:
