I actually went to Kay Bee Toys more than Toys R Us. Especially when that Xmas/BDay money came through :wow:
I think so too because the KB was in the mall and the Toys R Us was its own store here... so I'd have to try and convince my parents to take me over there, whereas when you already in the mall it was a lot easier to step into the KB

then head straight for the action figure aisle :wow:

I miss that shyt. A year before the last Toys R Us around me closed, I went through it just to see what was up. It wasn't the same as in the 90s cause kids want slightly different things, but the magic was there. I will go to my grave thinking fondly on that "I don't want to grow up" jingle and getting amazing gifts like the Spider-Man and Daily Bugle playset

There is a certain amount of joy that you can not reproduce as an adult that these toys deliver. Maybe having kids and seeing them play, but I have fond ass memories.
